About

Founded by sisters Lou Molly and Sal Flood, Label Label rephrases the familiar vocabulary of contemporary design towards enriched inclusivity and exquisite self-expression.

Guided by Lou's four decades of experience in the local fashion trade and Sal's extensive corporate background, the
pair's creative partnership was first born some 20 years ago. Fatigued by the unimaginative restrictions of high street fashion, the sisters travelled to Indonesia in 2002; examining the fabric traders' rich and varied textiles, and working
with local tailors to craft bespoke pieces.

Once back home, these custom creations never failed to catch the eyes of curious strangers on the street, eager to know how they could find similarly singular garments of their own. It soon became clear that the sisters' collaboration was not merely an outlet for their own innovation; it could also address glaring gaps in the Australian sartorial scene.

Thus, Lou and Sal were drawn to launch Label Label - a seamless partnership grounded in non-generic design, clothing longevity, and their trademark all-embracing warmth. For both, it's an opportunity to showcase the myriad
possibilities of textile layering and inclusive construction.

As each new capsule collection welcomes a wider array of clients into the Label Label fold, the wearable potential of every garment grows exponentially in tandem. It's an approach that typifies the brand itself: expansive in spirit and perennially stylish.
